Trump posted a message on Truth Social on 9/11, 2023, saying: "Never forget." Robert Reich posted a series of tweets in reply, saying:
"Trump's immediate reaction to the horror of 9/11 was to brag about the size of one of his buildings, phoning in to WWOR to say '40 Wall Street actually was the second-tallest building in downtown Manhattan ... And now it's the tallest.'"
"Trump has repeatedly claimed he helped first responders clear rubble at Ground Zero. This appears to be totally made up."
