Two days before President Obama's first inauguration, there was a concert at the Lincoln Memorial before a crowd estimated at 400,000, featuring Tom Hanks, Tiger Woods, Denzel Washington, Marisa Tomei, and more. The music was by Bruce Springsteen, Mary J. Blige, James Taylor, John Legend, John Mellencamp, Herbie Hancock, will.i.am, Sheryl Crow, U2, Beyonce, and many more.
Today, the concert for the Trump inaugural will have performances by Toby Keith, Jon Voight, The Piano Guys, Lee Greenwood, RaviDrums, 3 Doors Down, and The Frontmen of Country. There will be military bands and a fireworks show. Donald Trump will speak.
After this year's embarrassing display, I think it's time to make inaugural celebrations great again.
