A Norwegian speaks out.

Here is what Їne Back Їversen thinks (in response to an Internet clip of Trump speaking):

As a Norwegian, let me just say to this man; the only embarrassment we feel, is second-hand embarrassment for the fact that you even think you should have one. 

 

The man who cuddles up with the worst war criminals of our time, who just attacked another country to get their resources, and now threatens to do the same to several other nations, including occupying one of our neighbors. 

 

To the man who does nothing but praise Russia, that’s waging a genocidal war in Europe, and even refuse to call Russia out as the aggressor & terrorist state that they are. 

 

The man who never condemn a single one of Russia's massive attacks on Ukraine, when they bomb residential buildings & murder civilians, but instead continue to purely put pressure and disrespect on the victims of this war and comes up with the absurd statements like saying Ukraine “does bad things too” simply for defending themselves and their country. 

 

To the man who created a force unit that now goes door to door in his own nation, tearing families apart without proper due process, abusing people who cleans up your mess, harvest your food and build your homes. A force who now also will unlawfully arrest and even shoot and kill their own citizens, and be praised for it!! 

 

The man who does nothing for his people’s welfare and healthcare, but brags about his corrupted deals, building real estate on the dead bodies of children in another country. 

 

The man who has tasked his family and friends with international trading and crypto schemes in order to enrich his own name. 

 

The man who flashes gold and builds ballrooms for his billionaire friends, while his own people can barely afford rent and carry the nation with the taxes they pay from their labor, while he and his ultrawealthy associates evade taxes and continue hosting their lavish parties of corruption! 

 

So to sum up; No! We Norwegians are far from embarrassed over you not getting a Peace Prize. And our nation is far from getting decimated. In fact, feel free to look at our ranking of wellbeing, safety, growth and equality compared to yours; maybe you’ll be the one who’ll feel a bit embarrassed.
