Trump said this in 1990:

Here he is talking about the peaceful anti-Trump protests going on around the country:
These temper tantrums from these radical anarchists must be quelled. There is no legitimate reason to protest the will of the people.
UPDATE: Oops, make that "the mostly peaceful anti-Trump protests." There's been some minor violence, and what the police have said is a "riot" in Portland, Oregon.
